Why the Deputy Sheriff Exam and the Oral Board Interview So Important?

I"m going to be totally honest with you because some of you have been flat out lied to and here"s why. Some people have been told that becoming a police officer or a deputy sheriff will be easy. Some think the hiring process is no different than applying at a shoe store. I don"t want to be the bear of bad news, but that is a flat out lie, and I"ll explain why. For one, the deputy sheriff selection process is very competitive. There are a great number of candidates who want to be a deputy sheriff, and some of these potential prospects are college educated, or have military background.

Sales Rep Jobs - Hotel sales and catering is a receptive sales

A typical hotel sales person receives 1-5 sales inquiries per day.  At the end of the week they probably close 1-2 accounts per week.

Now if your the kind of sales person that takes the inquires but is also an aggressive sales "hunter" ......you will climb your way up the hotel sales ladder within a very short time. If your aggressive, you can probably double the inquiries and end up closing 3-5 accounts per week. I did, and was promoted to a Regional Director of Sales within 4 years.  My salary was $110K plus bonus (not bad for a 30 year old)

A majority of current sales people are just nice people that can meet the customers needs, but they don"t have that hunger for sales that the hotel business truly needs.

The only thing you need to get started is some solid training and insights.  www.aprinda.com will give you everything you need to get started in just 14-20 hours on-line.  They back their training up with a money back guarantee.

Hotel sales is fun, lucrative, and is a fast track career for those with an aggressive sales mentality.  Check out the brief commercial about hotel sales and catering at www.aprinda.com

If you can"t afford the on-line training, you can try and start at the front desk and try and get transferred to the sales department.  The draw back is that front desks are fairly low paying and there is no guarantee that you will get the job if an opening comes up in the sales and catering office.  To land the sales job, you will probably need the training anyway.

Finally, if you have the time, go to hospitality school.  College always open more doors in the long run.  If you lack the time and funds, an on-line certificate is probably the best option for fast results.  After 4 years in college, you will end up in the same spot that the on-line certificate gets you. - A hotel sales or catering manager positon.
